During the D-Day experience, your guests and their accompanying historian can board an “Ecureuil” helicopter located right on the D-Day beaches. This historian will continue the tour with the Bose Voice Activated Headsets. He will explain the topographic significance about the Normandy Coast related to the Invasions. The entire flight is made at low altitude in order to clearly see the graves at the American cemetery, the encasement of the floating harbor at Arromanches and the sunken destroyers lying on the bottom of the water. There is no experience superior to flying over St. Mère Église at the same altitude as the paratroopers in 1944.
Total flight time: 40 minutes covering the entire beach front from East to West from Pegasus Bridge to Utah Beach. Refreshments served at landing and digital photos taken to be shared.
Up to 4 passengers total + Historian + pilot
Nothing is more breathtaking than hovering over the Mont Saint Michel in an Ecureuil Helicopter. The private guide will greet the guests at the foot of the Mont Saint Michel and accompany them to the Mont for a 2-3 hour private tour.
Flight time: approximately 25 minutes (in vehicle, this transfer is 90 minutes each way)
Up to 5 passengers total + pilot
